Public sector and institutional banking

Discover our public Sector and Institutional Banking department

The Public Sector Group is a large department comprising 3 major units: Public Sector, Institutional Banking and EMDOs (Embassies, Multilateral and Development Organisations).

The Public Sector Department offers its services to public administrations, state-owned companies, state projects and public institutions;

Institutional Banking focuses on institutions such as insurance companies, microfinance, consulting and accounting firms, capital market operators.

While EMDOs focuses on diplomatic missions and international organizations, including international NGOs, United Nations (UN) agencies and donor organizations.

The UBA public sector has been providing innovative solutions to government entities and developmental agencies and has also financed major government projects.

Aissatou Hamadou currently heads the Public Sector and Institutional banking Department. With 23 years of cumulated banking experience and successful track records working in UBA Cameroon in various capacities such as Regional Director Centre and North Regions, Branch Manager and Relationship Manager. She holds a Masters in International Finance and a Bachelor of Management Sciences from the University of Yaoundé II as well as  a Higher Graduate Diploma from the Institut des Techniques Bancaires, Paris Nanterre.
