Job Title: Architect Division: Team Lead Project Management Department/ unit: Corporate Services Job objective(s) § Oversee and manage architectural projects designed for the bank, and ensuring alignment with the brand manual and the bank’s expectations Duties & Responsibilities § Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clearly outline project objectives, requirements, and deliverables § draft the terms of reference relating to the selection of consultants for the production of architectural plans for projects § Regularly track project progress against established timelines and budgets, providing updates to stakeholders. § Serve as the primary liaison between the bank and external design teams, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project. § Organize and participate in design review meetings to assess progress, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to project specifications § Define and communicate quality standards for project deliverables, ensuring they meet the bank’s requirements and industry best practices. § Assess architectural designs, plans, and specifications submitted by the consulltants firms for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. § Perform regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring that work aligns with approved designs and quality standards. § Adjust project schedules as necessary to accommodate changes, delays, or unforeseen challenges, communicating updates to all stakeholders. § Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations affecting construction and architecture, ensuring all designs comply with these standards. § Advise on architectural best practices and sustainable design principles to enhance project viability and environmental impact. § Prepare and deliver presentations on project plans, designs, and updates to senior management and other stakeholders. § Actively solicit and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine project designs and ensure satisfaction.
