Job Title: Team Lead Project Management Division: Corporate Services Department/ unit: Corporate Services Job objective(s) To effectively manage UBA CAMEROON construction and refurbishment projects Duties & Responsibilities § Participate in contract negotiations to ensure cost savings and quality assurance measures are met by contractors § Interface with the region to have negotiated contractor bids approved § Secure management approvals for all construction and maintenance projects bank wide § Engage consultants to ensure that all additional dependencies such as building permits invoices are secured before contract award. § Secure approvals for an ensure payment of building permit invoices § Ensure that all ore contract award requirements are in place and forward details of same and ensure effective TAT in the awards of contracts § Interface between the bank, it’s consultants and the region to solve any issues that might arise during the lifecycle of any project. § Interface with various departments of the bank such as IT, E-Banking, Security and Safety, Marketing and Corporate Communications, etc… to ensure project delivery and maintain high internal customer satisfaction rating § Ensure collation and delivery of bank related resources such as IT, E-Banking, CS, and Branding on all site as at when due § Monitor projects effectively from start to finish while maintaining external customer satisfaction within a set TAT § Site visitation and on site issue resolution § Develop an effective feedback and reporting system to be updated with the status of ongoing projects bank wide § Innovate new processes that help ensure cost savings and smoother processes on all construction and refurbishment projects bank wide § Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within approved scope and budget § Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility § Track construction costs accurately § Maintain complete historical data concerning the projects carried out for effective reporting and future references § Daily monitoring and reporting of all proposed and ongoing constructions bank wide § Prompt processing of all payments and account between the bank and her external consultants on construction projects
