Job objective(s)

Total satisfaction of customer through painstaking of transactions, attention to details, meticulousness, customer loyalty and overall growth of the enterprise

 Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the processing of all transfer files to be pre-financed (Direct prefinancing and weekly envelope with justification on time within regulatory deadlines) in line with foreign exchange regulations.
• Send and follow up request to BEAC for levelling of foreign currency accounts.
• Ensure that LCs for prefinancing are submitted on time.
• Follow up MT999 and send the cover in XAF in compliance with the regulatory.
• Follow up the cover received/not received with BEAC
• Supervise and monitor VISA and MASTERCARD transaction request and covers, provide HO with regular reports on changes in balances.
• Supervise retrocessions to BEAC, ensuring that all inflows received have been retroceded and that all routed SWIFT messages are ACK
• Post all treasury transactions in FINACLE, ensuring that they comply with procedures and regulations.
• Supervise and monitor the liquidation of all over aged items on the Nostro accounts.
• Submit weekly TROPS activity report to HO and AOM.
• Ensure that any issues raised by audit or internal control are regularized
• Ensure that all TROPS activities are carried out in strict compliance with procedure and regulations
• Ensure the daily rate maintenance on FINACLE Treasury
• Participate in building up strategy plan for the Unit
• To promote team spirit, cooperation and morale, within and across team.
• Lead and serve as backup staff (coverage) in the absence of my colleagues in order to ensure business continuity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standard

• Respect of deadline to submit files received to the Central Bank

• 100% follow up on files received from units
• 100% compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure response to all enquiries within set TAT

Education Requirements

• Minimum of a first degree

Experience

3 to 5 years minimum in Banking Operations
